When it comes to event stationary, I absolutely love new and unique ideas! What could be more exciting than opening what seems to be a plain and ordinary invitation, and suddenly as soon as you open the envelope out flies a beautiful paper butterfly. It puts an exciting spin on a very traditional method.

One of my favorite new invitation ideas is the “blow me up” balloon invitation. Attached to a small card is a balloon with all of the event details. As you blow the balloon up, you can read the details clearly. What a fun, interactive idea! Take a deep breath and start puffing away…

The beautiful Sacramento Grand Ballroom was the setting for Summer and Herbert's elegant wedding affair. From the gold paper cranes and handwritten photo holders to the traditional Japanese kimono featuring Summer's mother's obi, there were so many beautiful details that made their day special. (Did I mention that most of her details were DIY? Summer is a DIY goddess!) My favorite part of the day was the heartfelt ceremony that left everyone needing tissues! Congratulations you two! Big thanks to the vendors that made this day possible: LuLuLove Events, Hot Mama’s Cakes, Beat Fleet DJs, Night Owl Photobooth & Jasmine Chan Makeup & Hair.
